Marek Stecker

Owner of LoneFlame Games and Freedom Coding.

I’m a solo game developer from the Czech Republic.

I first discovered game development when I was around 10 years old and started experimenting with Unity. Over the years, I worked on many projects, both with friends and on my own, but I never managed to finish any of them. I also worked as a freelancer, taught others how to make games online, and ran a fairly successful YouTube channel called Freedom Coding.

Now I have the skills to finally finish my own game — and more importantly, the determination.

I’ve never been a huge fan of big-budget AAA titles. I’ve always been more interested in creative and unusual ideas from indie studios. That’s what led me to create Light Bearer, a horror game where light isn’t just part of the atmosphere — it’s the core of the gameplay itself.
